Consultation and preview
A digital scan and a panoramic X-ray, then a preview of the proposed result before any tooth is changed. You hear the plan and the cost at your consultation, before anything starts.
The shade is chosen with you
You and the dentist choose the shade together before the veneers are made.
Preparation
Depending on your case, a thin layer of enamel may be removed so the veneer sits flush. In some cases none is removed. The tooth is numbed with local anaesthetic while it is prepared.
Temporaries
Temporary veneers are worn for about one to two weeks while the final ones are made.
Fitting
The final veneers are bonded to the front of the teeth and checked.

Veneers are a choice, so we tell you the limits as plainly as the benefits.
It cannot be undone
Where enamel is removed, the tooth will always need a veneer or a crown.
They can chip
Avoid biting hard objects. A night guard may be advised if you grind your teeth.
They do not whiten later
Veneers keep their shade, so whitening is done first if you want it.
They need normal care
The tooth underneath can still decay. Brushing, flossing and check-ups continue as normal.
